DEA Released List of 125 Mossad Agents Arrested by U.S. Authorities on 9 /11/2001

Editor's Note:  Article makes the claim  that 9/11 was a 100% MOSSAD operation despite overwhelming evidence of additional participation and facilitation by the United States, the ISI, MI-5/6 and Turkish intelligence.  Text is a translation:

EuropanNetwork

In connection with eos e-mail I received from a reader synellina, which I expressed wonder "why do not Israeli agents arrested on 9 / 11 in the U.S." ...., We quote the complete list of the agents of Mossad, who arrested by U.S. authorities for their involvement in the spectacular terrorist attack of 9 / 11 and proved they were agents of Mossad ...! In my hand I have an additional list of Israeli (with around 140 names) but they ultimately did not prove that it acted on behalf of Mossad, but synepikourousan agents of Mossad ways ...!

Note that the Mayor of Jerusalem Ehud Olmert intervened twice through good friend Zionist Mayor Rudolph Giuliani of New York to release the Israeli agents of 9 / 11. These are the 5 Israeli agents who were dressed as Arabs in the roof of a building against the World Trade Center and the building NO. 7, photographed, recorded with cameras that fact and who were jumping for joy when the aircraft ran into the twin towers. They were also together military-style handheld radios and most likely were those fired and explosives were placed inside buildings ...

The following list of Israeli agents issued by the DEA and most of them were military and intelligence experience ... However, the whole issue in both the U.S. and Greece received little publicity. Finally, I should mention that in this list does not include the dozens of Mossad agents were arrested for spying and involvement in 9 / 11 in Canada and Mexico.

Having No Emergencies or Pressing Issues at Hand, U.S. Senate Passes Resolution Threatening to Suspend Aid to Palestinians

Haaretz

Serving Israel and AIPAC Instead of the people of the United States

Resolution 185 calls on Palestinians to halt bid for unilateral recognition at UN, calls on Obama to veto September vote.

The United States Senate has passed a resolution threatening to suspend financial assistance to the Palestinian Authority if its leaders "persist in efforts to circumvent direct negotiations by turning to the United Nations or other international bodies,” and called on U.S. President Barack Obama to veto a UN vote on unilateral recognition of a Palestinian state.

“Palestinian efforts to gain recognition of a state outside direct negotiations demonstrates absence of a good faith commitment to peace negotiations, and will have implications for continued United States aid,” the resolution declares.

Senator Ben Cardin, who initiated the resolution along with Senator Susan Collins, said after the vote late Tuesday that “The Senate has delivered a clear message to the international community that United Nations recognition of a Palestinian state at this time does not further the peace process.”

Resolution 185, co-sponsored by 87 Senator, states the two-state solution as the official U.S. policy for the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and also calls for a review of the reconciliation between Fatah and Hamas.

It also calls for the Palestinian unity government to “publicly and formally forswear terrorism, accept Israel's right to exist, and reaffirm previous agreements made with the Government of Israel.”

The Senate also called on Obama to announce that the U.S. will veto any resolution on Palestinian statehood that comes before the UN Security Council which is not a result of a peace agreement – and asked him to “lead a diplomatic effort to oppose a unilateral declaration of a Palestinian state and to oppose recognition of a Palestinian state by other nations.”

Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid said in a statement following the resolution passage “the United States of America will not give money to terrorists bent on the destruction of the State of Israel. America’s willingness to continue our current aid program will depend on the Palestinian government’s insistence that Hamas recognize Israel’s right to exist, that it renounce violence and that it honor the commitments made by prior Palestinian Authority governments.”

AIPAC, which lobbied for the passage of the resolution, welcomed the vote's result.

An Unbelievable Video Of Police Brutality In Greece

Business Insider

Today was a perfect commercial against capitalism: Markets surged on the same news that made people riots in the street in Greece today.

Note: Some in the comments are taking umbrage with the description of "capitalism." We're not talking about some free-market ideal here, just the current market system, with its love of bailouts and euphoria whenever anything good happens to the banks.

The blog LOL Greece has a fantastic post today about the collapse of Greek democracy, and the meaninglessness of the bailout, when freedoms are lost and police have carte blanche to strike at protesters.

Don't think that's what happened?

No Rooms Left in Prisons for Dozens Arrested on Drug Charges in Elliott County, Kentucky

WSAZ

Sheriff Jim Stevens tells WSAZ.com the round-up began on Friday and continued into Tuesday.

SANDY HOOK, Ky. (WSAZ) -- Despite all of the drug arrests in Elliott County, they actually have become something of a back burner issue.

The bigger question now is where to put all of the prisoners. Elliott County has worn out its welcome at local detention centers.

That happened in a hurry when Elliott County stopped paying its bills to those jails. But, while the sheriff's department and county administrators debate where the money went, the safety of those who live there now hangs in the balance.

For four days, it's been a constant parade of people in handcuffs at the Elliott County Sheriff's Department, with more than 30 arrested on drug charges.

“We worked 17 straight hours Friday,” Sheriff Jim Stephens said.

But, while the standard procedure is to haul these folks off to jail, the Big Sandy and Carter County Detention Centers have refused to take any more offenders from Elliott County.

“They had not paid the jail bill," Stephens said. "Yesterday, we took 12 prisoners, and they told us to not bring no more. Had 'em calling last night wantin' to turn themselves in. Told 'em they'd just have wait until we could find somewhere to take 'em."

“Really? So, here you've got these criminals and you can't even put 'em behind bars?” WSAZ.com's Carrie Cline asked.

“Can't even arrest them,” Stephens said.

The sheriff says more than enough was budgeted at the beginning of the year to cover the jail costs, but the county treasurer says otherwise.

“We just did not budget enough money to cover our jail bills this year,” Elliott County Treasurer Heather Stevens said.

“So, you spent over $60,000 more that what was already budgeted?” Cline asked.

“Yeah,” Stevens said.

That's just the start of the problem. Stephens’ department budget has also been zeroed. That means he had to lay off his only deputy and the secretary. But, she's working anyway -- for free.

“He can't do this by himself. So, what little I can do to help him, I'll do,” said Pam Hutchinson, the Sheriff’s Department secretary.

Report: Pakistan ends US use of base for drone attacks

MSNBC

Pakistan has stopped the United States from using an air base in the southwest of the country to launch drone strikes against militant groups, the defense minister was quoted as saying, as ties remain strained between the two countries.

Pakistan has long publicly opposed the missile attacks as a violation of its sovereignty, but has in private given support including intelligence to help target members of al-Qaida and the Taliban in the northwest region along the Afghan border.

The Financial Times quoted Defense Minister Ahmed Mukhtar as saying that Pakistan had ended U.S. drone flights out of Shamsi base in the southwestern province of Baluchistan, long reported to have been used for the covert war against militants.

"No U.S. flights are taking place from Shamsi any longer. If there have to be flights from the base, it will only be Pakistani flights," Mukhtar told the newspaper.

Ties between the countries, strained since the killing of two Pakistanis by a CIA agent in January, suffered a further setback after Navy SEALs killed al-Qaida leader Osama bin Laden in a secret raid last month that Pakistani officials said further breached its sovereignty.

Adam, Get Their Guns: How Al-Qaeda’s Spokesman Advances the Israel Lobby’s Gun Control Agenda

Intifada Voice of Palestine
Maidhc Ó Cathail

On June 3, in an al-Qaeda video rather loftily titled “You Are Held Responsible Only for Thyself,” al-Qaeda’s California-born spokesman, Adam Gadahn, urged followers to commit violent acts of jihad by exploiting alleged weaknesses in U.S. gun laws and the gun background check system. “America is absolutely awash with easily obtainable firearms,” he said. “You can go down to a gun show at the local convention center and come away with a fully automatic assault rifle without a background check and, most likely, without having to show an identification card. So what are you waiting for?”

Around the same time, a “hit list” of American executives, officials and companies appeared on jihadist websites. “Security analysts,” reported FoxNews.com, “believe the two messages are related and underscore a shift in terror strategy—from top-down, mass-casualty events to smaller-scale attacks taken up, in some cases, by freelancing, lone-wolf jihadists.” According to one of Fox’s security analysts, Aaron Weisburd, the founder and director of the revealingly named Internet Haganah, the discussion originated on a password-protected, members-only site, to which he has access, known as the Shumukh forum. Describing Shumukh—which bears an uncanny resemblance to the Yiddish word for “idiot”—as “the number-one Al Qaeda-supporting website on the Internet today,” Weisburd suspiciously added that it was “most frequented by Palestinians.”

On the very same day that Gadahn’s video was released, the Mayors Against Illegal Guns (MAIG) coalition issued a press release in response. New York City Mayor and MAIG founding co-chair Michael Bloomberg said that Gadahn’s statement was “absolutely accurate,” adding that the video “may help Washington understand that weak gun laws aren’t just a crime problem, they’re a national security threat.” Helpfully pointing out that legislation had already been introduced to address the problem, Bloomberg, an uncritical supporter of Israel’s seemingly unlimitedright to defend itself,” urged Congress to pass the Fix Gun Checks Act of 2011 and the Denying Firearms and Explosives to Dangerous Terrorists Act of 2011. Then on June 16, Ben Rattray’s Change.org breathlessly alerted subscribers to its MAIG-sponsored “Stop Al-Qaeda From Exploiting Gun Law Loopholes” online petition. This was followed by a June 17 editorial in the Chicago Sun-Times entitled “Terrorists buying guns? There ought to be a law.”

In fact, it was Mayor Bloomberg’s coalition that had initially proposed the legislation to fix gun background checks. On February 23, Bloomberg and his New York Police Commissioner, Ray Kelly, had joined Israel’s self-described guardian” in the Senate, Charles Schumer, to announce the introduction of legislation that would provide greater reporting to the National Instant Criminal Background Check System (NICS) for individuals with mental illness, domestic violence records, and drug abusers, by increasing the penalties for states that fail to adequately turn over records for those who are prohibited from owning a gun. The legislation would also require that all gun sales, including those by private sellers, be subject to a background check, effectively ending the so-called “gun show loophole.”

On May 12, the 550-member Mayors Against Illegal Guns (more than three-quarters of whom come from California, Florida, Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York) issued a statement decrying the House Judiciary Committee’s vote that day against an amendment to close the “Terror Gap” by giving the Justice Department discretion to deny gun and explosive sales to terrorists. “Hopefully, last night’s arrest in New York City of two terrorists plotting an attack using guns and explosives,” Mayor Bloomberg said in a statement, “will help convince Congress that this is a national security issue and they need to do the right thing and pass this legislation.”

On that same day, at a high-profile City Hall news conference, the New York Mayor and his steadfast NYPD Commissioner accused Ahmed Ferhani and Mohamed Mamdouh of “planning to blow up the largest synagogue in Manhattan and to kill as many Jews as possible.” The FBI, however, had their doubts about the police undercover who investigated the two alleged “lone wolf” terrorists and refused to get involved in the case. Those doubts were confirmed on June 15 when a grand jury rejected the top terrorism charge against the two Muslim immigrants from North Africa. “This is a political case, brought by political people, for their own political purposes,” Elizabeth Fink, a lawyer for Ferhani, said outside court.“You will see that this case is bogus.… It’s total entrapment.” She added that Ferhani had a history of mental illness and had been institutionalized up to 30 times, and that the police were aware of this because of 911 calls his mother had made to subdue him.

The grand jury’s rejection of the NYPD’s exaggerated claims of a dastardly anti-Semitic plot came just days after the White House announcement of the Jewish Federations’ new partnership with the Department of Homeland Security (a post 9/11 goldmine for the Israeli security industry) “dedicated mainly to the state of threats posed to American Jewish institutions.” Notwithstanding the strong evidence pointing to FBI entrapment as the source of earlier media-hyped “synagogue terror” plots, Michael Gelman, chair of the Executive Committee of the Board of The Jewish Federations of North America, said: “The American Jewish community and the places we gather are, unfortunately, often targets for terrorists. This new partnership with the Department of Homeland Security will empower us to counter this threat as we become more actively involved in our own protection.”

Treatments for Radiation Poisoning

Washington's Blog

You've heard that potassium iodide helps protect against some types of radiation.

In fact, it only protects against iodine 131 poisoning (and, if not needed, may cause severe adverse reactions in some individuals).

But there are actually different treatments for different types of radiation.

The following chart provided by the Food and Drug Administration summarizes the treatments for exposure to various radioactive elements (click chart for better image):

Prussian blue is taken to minimize damage from cesium. As FDA notes:

The FDA has determined that the 500 mg Prussian blue capsules, when manufactured under the conditions of an approved New Drug Application (NDA), can be found safe and effective for the treatment of known or suspected internal contamination with radioactive cesium, radioactive thallium, or non-radioactive thallium. This decision is based on a careful review of published literature articles containing reports, data, and experiences of people who were exposed to high levels of thallium or cesium-137 and were treated effectively with Prussian blue.

***
Prussian blue works using a mechanism known as ion exchange. Cesium or thallium that have been absorbed into the body are removed by the liver and passed into the intestine and are then re-absorbed into the body (entero-hepatic circulation). Prussian blue works by trapping thallium and cesium in the intestine, so that they can be passed out of the body in the stool rather than be re-absorbed. If persons are exposed to radioactive cesium, radioactive thallium, or non-radioactive thallium, taking Prussian blue may reduce the risk of death and major illness from radiation or poisoning.

And see this.

12 Things The Mainstream Media Is Being Strangely Quiet About Right Now

Pakalert Press
As the mainstream media continues to be obsessed with Anthony Weiner and his bizarre adventures on Twitter, much more serious events are happening around the world that are getting very little attention. In America today, if the mainstream media does not cover something it is almost as if it never happened. Right now, the worst nuclear disaster in human history continues to unfold in Japan , U.S. nuclear facilities are being threatened by flood waters, the U.S. military is bombing Yemen, gigantic cracks in the earth are appearing all over the globe and the largest wildfire in Arizona history is causing immense devastation. But Anthony Weiner, Bristol Palin and Miss USA are what the mainstream media want to tell us about and most Americans are buying it.

In times like these, it is more important than ever to think for ourselves.  The corporate-owned mainstream media is not interested in looking out for us.  Rather, they are going to tell us whatever fits with the agenda that their owners are pushing.

That is why more Americans than ever are turning to the alternative media.  Americans are hungry for the truth, and they know that the amount of truth that they get from the mainstream media continues to decline.

The following are 12 things that the mainstream media is being strangely quiet about right now….

#1 The crisis at the Fort Calhoun nuclear facility in Nebraska has received almost no attention in the national mainstream media.
Back on June 7th, there was a fire at Fort Calhoun.  The official story is that the fire was in an electrical switchgear room at the plant.  The facility lost power to a pump that cools the spent fuel pool for approximately 90 minutes.  According to the Omaha Public Power District, the fire was quickly extinguished and no radioactive material was released.
The following sequence of events is directly from the Omaha Public Power District website….
  • There was no such imminent danger with the Fort Calhoun Station spent-fuel pool.
  • Due to a fire in an electrical switchgear room at FCS on the morning of June 7, the plant temporarily lost power to a pump that cools the spent-fuel poo
  • The fire-suppression system in that switchgear room operated as designed, extinguishing the fire quickly.
  • FCS plant operators switched the spent-fuel pool cooling system to an installed backup pump about 90 minutes after the loss of power.
  • During the interruption of cooling, temperature of the pool increased a few degrees, but the pool was never in danger of boiling.
  • Due to this situation, FCS declared an Alert at about 9:40 a.m. on June 7.
  • An alert is the second-least-serious of four emergency classifications established by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
  • At about 1:15 p.m. on June 7, FCS operators declared they had taken all appropriate measures to safely return to the previously declared Notification of Unusual Event emergency classification. (See first item above.)
But the crisis at Fort Calhoun is not over.  Right now, the nuclear facility at Fort Calhoun is essentially an island. It is surrounded by rising flood waters from the Missouri River.
Officials claim that there is no danger and that they are prepared for the river to rise another ten feet.
The Cooper Nuclear Station in Brownville, Nebraska is also being threatened by rising flood waters.  A “Notification of Unusual Event” was declared at Cooper Nuclear Station this morning at 4:02.  This notification was issued because the Missouri River’s water level reached 42.5 feet.
Right now the facility is operating normally and officials don’t expect a crisis.
But considering what has been going on at Fukushima, it would be nice if we could have gotten a lot more coverage of these events by the mainstream media.
#2 Most Americans are aware that the U.S. is involved in wars in Iraq, Afghanistan and Libya.  However, the truth is that the U.S. military is also regularly bombing Yemen and parts of Pakistan.  If you count the countries where the U.S. has special forces and/or covert operatives on the ground, the U.S. is probably “active” in more countries in the Middle East than it is not.  Now there are even persistent rumors that U.S. ground units are being prepared to go into Libya.  Are we watching the early stages of World War 3 unfold before our eyes in slow motion?
#3 The crisis at Fukushima continues to get worse.  Arnold Gundersen, a former nuclear industry senior vice presidentrecently made the following statement about the Fukushima disaster….
“Fukushima is the biggest industrial catastrophe in the history of mankind”
TEPCO has finally admitted that this disaster has released more radioactive material into the environment than Chernobyl did.  That makes Fukushima the worst nuclear disaster of all time, and it is far from over.
Massive amounts of water is being poured into the spent fuel pools in order to keep them cool.  This is creating “hundreds of thousands of tons of highly radioactive sea water” that has got to go somewhere.  Inevitably much of it will get into the ground and into the sea.
Arnold Gundersen says that the scope of this problem is almost unimaginable….
“TEPCO announced they had a melt through. A melt down is when the fuel collapses to the bottom of the reactor, and a melt through means it has melted through some layers. That blob is incredibly radioactive, and now you have water on top of it. The water picks up enormous amounts of radiation, so you add more water and you are generating hundreds of thousands of tons of highly radioactive water.”
The mainstream media is not paying as much attention to Fukushima these days, but that doesn’t mean that it is not a major league nightmare.
Elevated levels of radiation are being reported by Japanese bloggers all over eastern Japan.  There are reports of sick children all over the region.  One adviser to the government of Japan says that an area approximately 17 times the size of Manhattan is probably going to be uninhabitable.
Of course the mainstream media has been telling us all along that Fukushima is nothing to be too concerned about and that authorities in Japan have everything under control.
If the mainstream media is not going to tell us the truth, how are they going to continue to have credibility?

Guess Which Al Qaeda is Being used to Push Gun Control? Adam “Pearlman” Gadahn

Boo!
They obviously don't care if we are onto ADL grandson Adam Pearlman direct from the state of Oregon - proud location of Harry and David fruit of the month club. He needs to work on his facial hair to achieve the mustache of Saddam Hussein and the beard of Osama Bin Dead Already.

They continue to roll this character out for those who have not been following this story. It's simply a race to fool as many people sourcing their news from television as they possible can. Cherries are in season now so let's send fierce Adam a batch and thank him for never spiking the fruit sent from this fertile state of Oregon. Then again, we better not give Mr. False flag any more ideas. ADL Grandaddy might still be in Oregon looking for the next post Christmas Tree bomber event of the summer.

And now, after the U.S. Supreme Court ruled strongly in favor of the 2nd amendment, your next booga, booga. Enjoy!

Interesting note from IntelHub:

"Mayor Bloomberg, the same man who consistently denied health benefits for 9/11 first responders, is a notorious gun grabber with deep globalist ties."

War Crime: U.S. Drone Strikes Murder 26 Suspected Militants in Pakistan

Lincoln Tribune
Peshawar, Pakistan

PESHAWAR, PAKISTAN (BNO NEWS) -- U.S. drone strikes on Monday killed at least 26 suspected militants in Pakistan's volatile tribal region, local media reported Tuesday.

Four air strikes were launched at a double cabin van in the Kung Ghalai area of Bermal Tehsil in Pakistan's South Waziristan, some two kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Afghan border, intelligence officials told the Express Tribune.

During the strike, about 29 kilometers (18 miles) from Wana, North Waziristan, at least 12 suspected militants, both Pakistani and Afghan, were killed and reportedly thought to be members of the Hafiz Gul Bahadur group.

Late Monday night, an unmanned aircraft launched a second attack against two residences in the Mantoi area of South Waziristan, where another 14 suspected militants were reportedly killed. No information was available regarding the number of injured during the strikes.

Is Eric Holder above the law?

Last December, drug smugglers killed Border Patrol Agent, Brian Terry in the Arizona desert south of Tucson. Will repercussions from that murder bring down Attorney General Holder?

Brian Terry’s mother announced on June 23rd that her family would sue top government officials, including Attorney General Holder and President Obama, to find out who is ultimately responsible for a Gunrunner-smuggled AK47 combat rifle that killed her son.

"I want whoever decided this program and knew about it to be held responsible. I want justice for my son. He served his country. He was a Marine. He was a police officer. He was a border patrol agent. My son was a true American hero,"  (KGUN (2011)

Alcohol Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) Agent John Dodson, told the House Oversight committee regarding “Fast and Furious” (Gunrunner). “Well, every time we voiced concerns… every day being out here watching a guy go into the same gun store buying another 15 or 20 AK-47s or variants or five or ten pistols. Guys that don’t have a job…and he is walking in here spending $27,000 for three Barrett .50 calibers…and you are sitting there every day and you can’t do anything.”  (Nemerov, 2011)

According to House Oversight Committee reports, many line agents objected that ATF and Department of Justice (DOJ) leadership prevented them from interdicting illegally purchased firearms. Finally - after the death of Brian Terry - some agents blew the whistle and faced punishment from ATF leadership.

“The Department of Justice has repeatedly and steadfastly denied that any guns were walked under 'Operation Fast and Furious' (Gunrunner). According to Eric Holder’s interpretation, “…a gun is walked only when an ATF agent physically places an AK-47 into the hands of a straw purchaser and then lets that straw purchaser walk out of sight”. http://oversight.house.gov/images/stories/Reports/ATF_Report.pdf

The facts of Gunrunner are well established. But when House Oversight Committee Chair, Darrell Issa, subpoenaed DOJ for Gunrunner documents, the Congressional Committee received hundreds of pages with whole sections of many pages redacted (blacked out) by Justice Department Administrators.

Despite Previous Reassurances by Janet Napalitano and Homeland Security, Incident Rates of Cancer Surge in TSA Employees

PrisonPlanet

FOIA documents reveal how “large number of workers have been falling victim to cancer, strokes and heart disease”

Fearful of provoking further public resistance to naked airport body scanners, the TSA has been caught covering up a surge in cases of TSA workers developing cancer as a result of their close proximity to radiation-firing devices, perhaps the most shocking revelation to emerge from the latest FOIA documents obtained by the Electronic Privacy Information Center.

After Union representatives in Boston discovered a “cancer cluster” amongst TSA workers linked with radiation from the body scanners, the TSA sought to downplay the matter and refused to issue employees with dosimeters to measure levels of exposure.

The documents indicate how, “A large number of workers have been falling victim to cancer, strokes and heart disease.”

“The Department, rather than acting on it, or explaining its position seems to have just dismissed. I don’t think that’s the way most other agencies would have acted in a similar situation if they were confronted with that question,” EPIC’s Marc Rotenberg said.

In an email sent to Heather Callahan (PDF), deputy federal security director at Boston Logan International Airport, union representatives express their concern about “TSA Boston’s growing number of TSOs working here that have thus far been diagnosed with cancer.”

Of course, if TSA workers who are merely standing near the scanners are already developing cancer, frequent flyers are also putting themselves in harm’s way by standing directly inside the radiation-firing machines.

As we reported yesterday, newly released internal government documents, obtained via the Freedom Of Information Act by the Electronic Privacy Information Center, reveal that the TSA, and specifically the head of the Department of Homeland Security, “publicly mischaracterized” the findings of the National Institute of Standards and Technology, in stating that NIST had positively confirmed the safety of full body scanners in tests.

In erroneously citing both NIST and the Johns Hopkins school of medicine to claim that the body scanners are safe, the TSA has also deliberately misled the public on the dangers posed by the devices.
Documents obtained by EPIC show that, far from affirming their safety, NIST warned that airport screeners should avoid standing next to full body scanners in order to keep exposure to harmful radiation “as low as reasonably achievable.”

Further documents illustrate how a Johns Hopkins study actually revealed that radiation zones around body scanners could exceed the “General Public Dose Limit,” contradicting repeated claims by the TSA that Johns Hopkins had validated the safety of the devices.

At the time we pointed out that Dr Michael Love, who runs an X-ray lab at the department of biophysics and biophysical chemistry at the Johns Hopkins school of medicine had publicly stated two days previously that “statistically someone is going to get skin cancer from these X-rays”.

Highest Water in a Decade Expected at Lake Powell

PRWeb
Editors Note: This is the same rise in waters that the rest of the country was unprepared for due to lack of funds and the claims made by human-caused global warming crowd that no further severe winters were on the horizon. One can argue that overconfidence in "Global Warming Science" is partially responsible for the coming food shortages, especially with the rise in percentage of farmlands used for ethanol instead of food.

Above-average snowpack opens new areas of lake to boaters

Summer visitors to Lake Powell will experience water levels last seen ten years ago, according to a new report by the Bureau of Reclamation. The report predicts water levels to be 3,665 feet above sea level by mid-August, a level not seen since 2001.  In the last two months, the nation's second largest man-made lake has added 28 feet of water elevation with half of the snowpack still left to melt. This excess snowmelt is creating more areas to explore at Lake Powell, America's favorite houseboating destination.

"We are expecting the lake to rise a foot a day for the next two months as the rest of the snow melts and feeds Lake Powell," says David Sloma, vice president of operations for Lake Powell Resorts and Marinas. "The higher water levels are opening hundreds of Lake Powell's back canyons to boats, giving visitors access to areas that have not been accessible for ten years!"

Visitors to Lake Powell this year will find more places to explore and to beach houseboats. The lake's high levels will provide optimal boating conditions throughout the season.  Popular fishing areas such as Farley and Cooper Canyons are also expected to be accessible.

Lake Powell's rising water level is a result of the long and wet winter this year. An above-average snowpack, with late snows and unseasonably cold weather has lead to a slower melt than usual. As of May, the snowpack that feeds Lake Powell was 30 percent higher than average, with only 50 percent of the accumulated snowpack melted.

From Britain: RIBA, AIA and Aaronovitch Attack Gage, Fail to Refute His Findings

Notice the similar, frumpy, hackneyed tactics by those professionals protecting the official story of 9/11.   No attempt to address or dispute the evidence presented by architect Richard Gage, but instead an immediate accusation of being "anti-semitic".  The lady doth protest too much.  Who instructed the British RIBA and other trade groups to use the tactic of slandering and libeling Richard Gage, AIA instead of using their expertise to refute Gage's findings?

This is a clear indication that they cannot refute Architects and Engineers for 9/11 Truth, regardless of any spin to come out of the so-called debunkers,  Honest assessments by outside observers indicate that Gage has scored a substantial victory for the 9/11 Truth movement.

Here is a great example by 9/11 Truth advocate and artist, Scootle Royal (Wake Up American Slobs).

Scootle Royale
Debunking the Debunkers

It seems the heads of the Britain and America's top architectural organizations are annoyed that Gage got to talk at the Royal Institute of British Architects, accusing him of using RIBA's name to give credibility to a 'bonkers' conspiracy theory. The Randi-crowd are of course using this fact to argue that Gage is crazy.

I live in Wiltshire, which is a four hour, sixty pound train journey via multiple changes and a tube ride away from Cambridge, but only 45 minutes away from Bristol. So while I couldn't attend Gage's talk at Cambridge University last saturday, I was able to see him in Bristol on tuesday. I had intended to stick around meet him afterwards but the Q&A dragged on too long and I didn't want to miss the last train home so I had to leave early. Anyway, I can assure you there was no 'conspiracy theory' in his presentation. In fact he's even taken out Larry Silverstein's 'pull it' comment. When asked about this in the Q&A he said he took it out because he was fed up with arguing with people over what 'pull it' meant, prefering instead to stick to the science.

Now assuming the presentation I saw was the same as the one given to RIBA in London, I know David Aaronovitch is talking crap when he says "What they mean is that George Bush and the Zionists brought down the towers. The RIBA let itself out to a conspiracy theory organisation whose theories are utterly insane."

The only theory that is utterly insane is NIST's thermal expansion theory. At one point in the presentation I saw, after outlining the thermal expansion theory, Gage said something like "There are so many things wrong with this, but for the sake of time I will only list twelve!" and then went on a rapid fire tirade simply on why the idea of heated floor beams remaining rigid, breaking numerous bolts and studs in unison and pushing against a girder, instead of just sagging, is ludicrous. If Aaronovitch, who attended the RIBA lecture, accepts the official story of 9/11, then that is what he endorses!

Debris threat sends crew heading for Soyuz

Reports are circulating that the six-man crew of the International Space Station has been forced to evacuate as ground stations track fast-moving debris heading its way.

Numerous sources are reporting that the ISS crew has been ordered to immediately evacuate the station and head to the Soyuz escape craft as ground crews treck dangerous debris heading towards the facility.

If the facility is hit, its structure could be damaged in such a way as to allow the atmosphere to escape into the vacuum of space.

So far, there has been no official word on how serious the threat, which is similar to a 'red debris' concern that prompted a 2009 evacuation, actually is.

We will update this story as more information becomes available.

UPDATE 1424:

While there is still no official word on the matter, CNN's R. A. Greene has reported on Twitter: "International Space Station briefly evacuated because of space debris; situation now over, everyone OK."

UPDATE 1512:

Speaking to thinq_, chairman of the Reading Astronomical Society John Talbot confirmed that the debris passed without incident, and that the evacuation was merely a precaution. "The debris missed the ISS and the crew returned after about 30 minutes in the Soyuz," he explained. "NASA has coincidentally been discussing the evacuation procedures in case of emergency for the upcoming final visit of the Space Shuttle on Twitter this afternoon.

"The space around the ISS is constantly monitored for possible space debris," he added, "as a large impact could have devastating consequences. Occasionally bits of debris can 'sneak' up and be detected too late for the ISS to take evasive action. On these occasions the crew has to 'evacuate' just in case."

Talbot also confirmed that today's evacuation was similar to that which occurred in 2009. "In March 2009 a piece of space debris - possibly a discarded piece of the ISS itself - was detected in a possible collision course with the ISS. The ISS can manouevre itself out of the way of this kind of threat given enough warning, but it was too late on this occasion. The crew evacuated into the Soyuz spacecraft which is docked to the ISS. If the ISS was impacted it could lead to loss of atmosphere on board and endanger the lives of the crew. In a worst case scenario," he concluded, "the crew could return to Earth on the Soyuz."

Reps urge Clinton to protect U.S. citizens on Gaza flotilla

JTA

Six Democratic lawmakers urged U.S. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton to ensure the safety of the American citizens who join  the Gaza flotilla.

U.S. Reps. Dennis Kucinich (D-Ohio), Eleanor Holmes Norton (D-D.C.), William Clay (D-Mo.), Sam Farr (D-Calif.), Bob Filner (D-Calif.) and Barbara Lee (D-Calif.) signed a letter to Clinton last Friday expressing their concern for the safety of the passengers who will be aboard the U.S. ship The Audacity of Hope. Filner is Jewish.

"We request that you do everything in your power to work with the Israeli government to ensure the safety of the U.S. citizens on board," they wrote.
At least 36 Americans are set to travel with the flotilla.

Their concern, the letter said, stems from Israeli actions taken against the Gaza flotilla in May 2010, in which nine civilians, including one American, were killed and others injured during a confrontation.

"We wholeheartedly support Israel's right, and indeed its duty, to protect its citizens from security threats," the letter said. "The measures it uses to do so, as in the case with any other nation, must conform to international humanitarian and human rights law. We are encouraged that The Audacity of Hope organizers have stated that their cargo 'is open to international inspection' and that they 'are fully committed to nonviolence and the tenets of international law.' "

Separately, Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) posted an appeal to the State Dept. to "ensure protection to the participants" in the flotilla on the website of J Street, a liberal pro-Israel group.

Flotilla To Sail Despite Pressure, Threats Of Violence

Bernama

KUALA LUMPUR, June 28 (Bernama) -- Some 10 boats are set to sail over the next few days carrying nearly 3,000 tonnes of aid for Palestinians in Gaza in defiance of the Israeli blockade.

Dignity/Karama, a French boat, left the port of Corsica on June 25 to meet up with at least nine other vessels of the International Freedom Flotilla II to proceed to Gaza, according to a statement from the flotilla.

The statement said Israel's best efforts to stop the boats at port, including pressure on governments, threats against insurance and communications companies, intimidation of human rights defenders and other underhand tactics, had failed.

"In the coming days, the rest of the vessels in the flotilla, two cargo ships and seven other passenger boats, will leave from various ports to a meeting point in international waters from which the boats will sail all together to Gaza.

"We will carry nearly 3,000 tonnes of aid and hundreds of civilians from dozens of countries, including members of parliaments, politicians, writers, artists, journalists and sports figures as well as representatives of indigenous peoples and various faith groups.

"Unfortunately, some of our vessels are facing delays admittedly prompted by frivolous complaints from the Israel Law Centre, attempted sabotage of some boats as well as administrative obstacles created by the Greek government in response to Israeli pressure," it said.

Afghans build super-cheap internet

TechEye
Nick Farrell

Constructed from rubbish

An Afghan city was so cross that it was taking forever to get them online that they built an internet out of rubbish.

Built using the savings of group members and a grant from the National Science Foundation, residents of Jalalabad have built the FabFi network which is an open source system.

It is built out of common building materials and off-the-shelf electronics and can transmit wireless ethernet signals across several miles.

Its longest link is currently 2.41 miles, between the FabLab and the water tower at the public hospital in Jalalabad. It can manage 11.5Mbps and it works through heavy rain, and pollution.
Not great, but better than a poke in the eye with a short stick. It means that communities can build their own wireless networks to gain high-speed internet connectivity.

According to Shareable, the result is viral and it is growing like topsy. The outfit creates cells of users who build new bits of the network and installing and maintain FabFi links.

Residents are knocking together a FabFi node out of $60 worth of boards, wires, plastic tubs, and cans that will serve a whole community at once.

The good side of it is that without government or company involvement there is no one who can force users to do their bidding. It is community based net-neutrality built from rubbish, rather than just filled with it.

Los Alamos evacuates, lab closes as fire grows

Vivian Levy prepares to evacuate as a rapidly growing
wildfire approaches Los Alamos, N.M. The town is
also home to a nuclear lab.

San Francisco Gate
Susan Montoya Bryan

Los Alamos, N.M. --
Thousands of residents fled the town that's home to the Los Alamos nuclear laboratory as a rapidly growing wildfire approached, sending up towering plumes of smoke, raining down ash and charring the fringes of the sprawling lab.

The blaze, which began Sunday, destroyed 30 structures south of Los Alamos and forced the closure of the lab while stirring memories of a devastating fire in May 2000 that burned hundreds of homes and buildings.

"The hair on the back of your neck goes up," Los Alamos County fire chief Doug Tucker said of first seeing the fire in the Santa Fe National Forest on Sunday. "I saw that plume and I thought, 'Oh my god here we go again.' "

Tucker said the current blaze - which had grown to roughly 78 square miles by Monday - was the most active fire he had seen in his career.

Lab officials said radioactive material stored at various locations was safe from the flames.

The antinuclear watchdog group Concerned Citizens for Nuclear Safety said the fire appeared to be about 3 1/2 miles from a dump site where as many as 30,000 55-gallon drums of plutonium-contaminated waste were stored in fabric tents above ground. The group said the drums were awaiting transport to a low-level radiation dump site in southern New Mexico.

Lab spokesman Steve Sandoval declined to comment on that assertion but did acknowledge that there is low-level waste stored in drums on lab property.

Traffic on Trinity Drive, one of the main roads out of Los Alamos, was bumper-to-bumper Monday as residents followed orders to leave.

Sam Kendericks said he knew the blaze was going to be bad when he first saw the plume Sunday.

"I was going to the hardware store and I did a U-turn as soon as I saw the plume come over the mountain. I told my wife to start packing. We were here 10 years ago. We had 20 minutes last time. So this time we're ready," he said. "

Flames approached the southern edge of the famed lab, where scientists developed and tested the first atomic bomb during World War II. Lab and fire officials said they were confident that if the flames reached lab property, they would be able to protect its sensitive facilities.
The lab covers more than 36 square miles and includes about 2,000 buildings at nearly four dozen sites.

The blaze started on private land about 12 miles southwest of Los Alamos and quickly grew. Flames and smoke could be seen from the outskirts of Albuquerque, about 80 miles away.

Memo reveals intelligence chief's bid to fuel fears of Iraqi WMDs

Sir John Scarlett was chairman of the joint intelligence committee
before serving as head of MI6 from 2004 to 2009.
Guardian
Chris Ames

Sir John Scarlett wanted dossier to strengthen case for war

The senior intelligence official responsible for Tony Blair's notorious dossier on Iraq's weapons of mass destruction proposed using the document to mislead the public about the significance of Iraq's banned weapons.

Sir John Scarlett, who as head of the Joint Intelligence Committee was placed "in charge" of writing the September 2002 dossier, sent a memo to Blair's foreign affairs adviser referring to "the benefit of obscuring the fact that in terms of WMD Iraq is not that exceptional".

The memo, released under the Freedom of Information Act, has been described as one of the most significant documents on the dossier yet published.

The disclosure supports the evidence of the former intelligence official Michael Laurie, who told the Chilcot inquiry into the Iraq war that it was widely understood that the dossier was intended to make a case for war and misrepresented intelligence to this particular end.

The role of the Joint Intelligence Committee is to present impartial intelligence-based advice to ministers. Alastair Campbell, Blair's director of communications, told Scarlett that the dossier's credibility depended on it being seen to be the work of Scarlett and his team of experts.

But the 2004 Butler review found that the published dossier had presented a more certain case on Iraq's weapons than was set out in the committee's reports. In spite of this, Scarlett went on to be head of MI6.

Scarlett's memo was sent to Sir David Manning, Blair's chief foreign policy adviser, in March 2002 after an early draft of the dossier had been drawn up covering four countries with "WMD programmes of concern": Iraq, Iran, Libya and North Korea.

Jack Straw, then foreign secretary, had commented that the paper "has to show why there is an exceptional threat from Iraq. It does not quite do this yet." In response, Scarlett suggested that the dossier could make more impact if it only covered Iraq. "This would have the benefit of obscuring the fact that in terms of WMD Iraq is not that exceptional," he wrote.

America is The Biggest Terrorist State of The World

Islam Memo
Asif Haroon Raja

Note: Translated but not edited.
America’s past and present testifies the fact that there is no country in the world matching its destructive oriented policies. The US is the sole country which annihilated millions of inhabitants of Nagasaki and Hiroshima by using hydrogen bombs. Even today no living being in the two affected cities are safe from the thermonuclear aftereffects. Large number of countries had to go through rigors of civil war on account of US intrigues. In its bid to bring down populist elected governments of targeted countries, CIA and FBI secretly provided arms and funds to rebel groups and converted democracy into dictatorship. After making full use of the selected dictator, when he outlived his utility and became a liability, he was branded a traitor and popular movement organized against him. After creating political and economic instability, spreading lawlessness and inducing a civil war like situation, the US forces were pushed in under the pretext of saving the people from the cruel clutches of dictator. Tunes of freedom and democracy were played up full blast. Afghanistan, Iraq and now Libya are cases in point where the people have been deprived of peace and independence.

In order to break-up USSR, CIA first fomented protests against Moscow in Eastern Europe in 1970s by overplaying prosperity and openness of Western Europe and then turned Afghanistan into a battleground. Osama bin Laden (OBL) and thousands of Muslim Jihadis were enticed from all over the Muslim world to promote culture of Jihad against godless communist super power. After accomplishing its objectives, the US abandoned the region in haste and got involved in renovation of Eastern Europe and expanding NATO towards the east. Afghan Mujahideen who had paid the heaviest price in pushing out Soviet troops and Pakistan that had led the proxy war had to go through a long period of trial and tribulation. Left at their own, both Afghanistan and Pakistan were unable to repair the badly bruised socio-economic fabric.

After 9/11, the blue-eyed boy OBL and his holy warriors who were profusely acclaimed by USA and entire western world were declared as most dangerous terrorists. After declaring OBL responsible for attacks on WTC in New York without furnishing any proof, the US destroyed Afghanistan in October-November 2001. Ever since, Afghanistan remains an occupied country and trigger-happy occupation forces have killed tens of thousands of Afghans. Vices that had been purged from the society by the Taliban during their 5-year rule (1996-2001) have resurfaced in a big way.

Iraq under Saddam Hussein was supplied with dangerous chemical weapons by USA for use against Iran in Iran-Iraq war (1980-88). Tens of thousands of Iraqis and Iranians perished in the war which ended without any side emerging as a victor. Later on, Saddam who was given full support for a decade was labeled as a ruthless dictator and falsely charged with storing weapons of mass destruction (WMDs) and having links with al-Qaeda. Under the pretext of locating WMDs, every nook and corner of Iraq was combed by UN inspectors for well over two years. Even though the inspectors gave clear report, Iraq was invaded and destroyed without obtaining UN approval and disregarding world protests.

A massive hunt was launched to locate fugitives Saddam and his sons. His two sons were brutally murdered and their photos splashed on internet. Saddam was eventually traced and after interrogating him and carrying out DNA, denture and medical tests to confirm he was the right person, he was put on trial in a kangaroo court and hanged to death on charges of using excessive force against the Kurds and Shias. Movie of his hanging was also shown on u-tube. 1.6 million Iraqis have died since March 2003 and bloodletting is still continuing.

After 9/11, Pakistan was coerced to become a coalition partner and to combat global terrorism. Pak Army was made to fight own tribesmen in FATA supposedly sheltering al-Qaeda operatives. The flames of war lit in Afghanistan were diverted towards Pakistan. USA pampered and encouraged India to indulge in covert war to destabilize Pakistan which on papers was US close ally and a frontline state. Tehrik-e-Taliban-Pakistan was CIA’s creation which is funded, equipped and guided by several foreign agencies.

Populations Around Aging US Nuke Plants Soar

Common Dreams
Jeff Donn

BUCHANAN, N.Y. – As America's nuclear power plants have aged, the once-rural areas around them have become far more crowded and much more difficult to evacuate. Yet government and industry have paid little heed, even as plants are running at higher power and posing more danger in the event of an accident, an Associated Press investigation has found.

Populations around the facilities have swelled as much as 4 1/2 times since 1980, a computer-assisted population analysis shows.

But some estimates of evacuation times have not been updated in decades, even as the population has increased more than ever imagined. Emergency plans would direct residents to flee on antiquated, two-lane roads that clog hopelessly at rush hour.

And evacuation zones have remained frozen at a 10-mile radius from each plant since they were set in 1978 — despite all that has happened since, including the accidents at Three Mile Island, Chernobyl and Fukushima Dai-ichi in Japan.

Meanwhile, the dangers have increased.

More than 90 of the nation's 104 operating reactors have been allowed to run at higher power levels for many years, raising the radiation risk in a major accident. In an ongoing investigative series, the AP has reported that aging plants, their lives extended by industry and regulators, are prone to breakdowns that could lead to accidents.

And because the federal government has failed to find a location for permanent storage of spent fuel, thousands of tons of highly radioactive used reactor rods are kept in pools onsite — and more is stored there all the time.

These mounting risks, though, have not resulted in more vigilant preparations for possible accidents.
The AP found serious weaknesses in plans for evacuations around the plants, including emergency drills that do not move people and fail to test different scenarios involving the weather or the time of day.

Some plans are merely on checklists, and never have been tested. In drills, responders typically go to command centers and not to their emergency posts. There is no federal requirement for how fast an evacuation must be carried out.

And disaster planners from the U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission and the Federal Emergency Management Agency have made dubious assumptions about the public response to a major accident. They insist, for example, that people who are not called upon to evacuate will stay put; they're now saying that they might under some circumstances tell people to hunker down at home even in the 10-mile evacuation zone, and they believe people will do it.

That advice flies in the face of decades of science and policy, millions of dollars in planning and preparations — and common sense.

Apparent sabotage against Gaza flotilla

Christian Science Monitor
Dan Murphy

US activists chant slogans as they hold placards
after a news conference about an international flotilla to
blockaded Gaza, in Athens, Monday, June 27, 2011.
The Juliano, a boat planning on joining the Gaza flotilla challenging Israel's blockade, was sabotaged in a Greek harbor earlier today, according to a spokesman.

A ship jointly owned by Swedish, Greek, and Norwegian activists hoping to join a flotilla of activist vessels challenging Israel's economic blockade of Gaza, had its propeller cut while in Athen's harbor today. A spokesman contacted by the Monitor said that the damage was a deliberate act of sabotage.

Israel and its allies have been working hard to head off the planned flotilla, which is hoping to enter the waters off Gaza in the next week. Col. (ret) Ann Wright, who's organizing a US vessel named the Audacity of Hope for the flotilla, says her ship has been detained in Athens on spurious charges that it's not seaworthy. She says that charge was made by an Israeli legal group.

Israeli actor in anti-Gaza Flotilla pinkwashing video identified

Trying to kill two birds with one stone; the LGBT Rights Movement and the Gaza bound Flotilla…
*
Israel is taking advantage of a new phenomenon by engaging in an on-line ‘Pinkwashing‘ campaign. As was reported on this site earlier today, ISRAEL GRASPING AT STRAWS TO STOP THE FLOTILLAS, the following just might be the straw needed to ‘break the camel’s back.’

Submitted by Benjamin Doherty

The disillusioned “gay activist” called “Marc” who appeared in a YouTube video condemning the Gaza Freedom Flotilla for alleged homophobia, that was tweeted by the Israeli Government Press Office, has been identified as an Israeli called Omer Gershon.

This definitely proves that the video is either a hoax or a piece of propaganda designed to discredit the flotilla and use a mask of concern for gay rights to pinkwash Israel and justify the persecution of Palestinians in Gaza.

Last night The Electronic Intifada confirmed that one of the first people to tweet the video was Guy Seemann, a staffer in the office of the Israeli prime minister.

The following images clearly identify Gershon by his face and tattoos.

Omer Gershon’s public Facebook profile

Gershon, as an Israeli, could not possibly have been so naive as “Marc” claimed to be in the video about either the flotilla or the situation in Gaza. It is puzzling that a piece of propaganda that was meant to pass as the genuine work of an activist previously uninformed about the situation in Palestine would use a figure who is fairly well-known in the Israeli gay scene.

Gershon has been profiled in leading Israeli publications such as Haaretz, Maariv and Ynet (here and here).

A 2008 report gave his age as 33 and said he lived in Tel Aviv. Gershon was described as a “producer, entrepreneur, and PR manager for clubs.” Gershon says he went to school in New York where he got a degree in marketing and advertising at the age of 25 and lived there for almost four years. He also said he had volunteered for IGY (the youth LGBT organization in Israel) and a women’s rights org called “Ladies Circle.”

The Biggest Republican Mastermind And The Biggest Democrat Fundraiser Literally Work For The Same Company

In a earlier, corrobarating story in The Nation: Hillary Clinton has lured away
ex-George W. Bush financier Alan Quasha to work with the Clinton
campaign in an undisclosed capacity
Business Insider
James Altuche

I had five seconds to make the secretive most powerful man in the world like me so I could potentially make millions. “James,” Bill McCluskey said to me, “this is Alan Quasha.” Bill was CEO of Brean Murray, one of the mini-banks I considered selling my fund of hedge funds to in 2006. We had a deal on the table and I was desperate at the time to make it work. The table was circular, there were papers on it with numbers, I was bullshitting every which way I could about “synergies”. Whatever. That was months later. But first I had to meet Alan Quasha, the owner of Brean Murray, at an event they were throwing, and he had to like me. Because…

Alan Quasha squinted his eyes, shook my hand. He had no idea who I was. I certainly wasn’t anything like George W. Bush, the man Quasha had personally saved in 1986. The man Bush owes his sobriety to. In 1986  Bush was CEO of some oil company that was going down in flames. Possibly the worst oil company in Texas history.

Some calls were made and Quasha’s Harken Oil bought Bush’s company for millions of dollars. Then, of course, a few years later, Bush sold his shares in Quasha’s Harkin Oil right before Harkin Oil announced a mega-loss and the stock tanked. Bush used his profits to buy a stake in the Texas Rangers, sold that stake later for 10-15 million dollars and was finally able to follow his father’s sage advice (“don’t go into politics until you get rich” ***).

Let’s spell out what that means: if Alan Quasha called up W on September 12, 2001 in the middle of Bush pouring over maps of the jungles of Afghanistan to see where we would invade (do they have jungles in Afghanistan? Do we really need an “h” in Afghanistan?), Bush would say “hold all calls”, close the doors of the Oval Office and say “Hi Daddy Number 2″, to Quasha. He owed his life, his livelihood, the Texas Rangers, the Presidency, all to Alan Quasha and now I was shaking Quasha’s hand. I had five seconds to make Alan Quasha like me almost as much as he liked Bush so he would buy my company. Why? Alan Quasha was Chairman of Brean Murray.
